With over 25 years of combined academic research experience, Katrina and Helen have published their research in world-leading academic journals, books and book chapters.

Katrina has published extensively on ageing identities, technology and human resource management. Katrina’s research on gender in the workplace has explored topics from Barbie to the Pirelli Calendar, while Helen’s publications range from entrepreneurship to research methods. In 2022, Helen and Katrina launched Breaking Binaries Research, to explore complex identities in the workspace and received funding from the Institute of Small Business and Entrepreneurship and the CIPD. From this work they produced two reports:
