Starting your FT PGR degree

Whatever your research focus, this two-hour small group session will work through what to expect and how to get the most from your post-graduate research experience.  We will focus on the all-important first year and cover:

·     Working effectively: on your own, with others and with your supervisor

·     Setting realistic goals and achieving them

·     Becoming a reflective, independent researcher

If you are applying for or have secured a full time MPhil, DBA or PhD place in any of the social sciences this session is for you.
